Since 2003, Clean Water Fund has worked with municipalities to commit to support clean, renewable energy. In 2011,with more than 100 communities making this commitment, Clean Water Fund is helping to support them by working to ensure they have a voice in state energy discussions and providing advice and training to volunteer town clean energy task forces throughout Connecticut.  We are working to promote policies that help towns achieve their goals, including advocating for stable solar incentives, better energy financing options and energy saving performance contracting for municipal buildings
